I may be needing a trailer for a 97 27 ZX twin step in the next 2 weeks...Have any hook ups on a used one or the best place to buy as new one? I will be coming down from Ga.
Bryan
Here's who I bought mine from. I was very pleased with the price, the trailer, and the timeframe to build it.
Talk to Captain Jack, otherwise they will quote you retail.

I took Cuda's advice and I have boght two trailers from Capt. Jack Knowling. You couldn't ask for a nicer guy to deal with. Down home type of guy. He built me a trailer for my Z-25 and my Z-33. When I told him, he took this old notebook of trailers and sort of dusted it off and said: "You know, I think I built a trailer for a Z-33 not long ago". I'm getting concerned. You know what, I picked that trailer up and went straight to the ramp and put my Z-33 on it. You couldn't ask for a better fit. It was absolutely perfect.
A word to the wise..............
get two axles with brakes
get torsion axles.
Tell him about it Cuda, you gave me good advice on those axles.

Definetely torsion axles. No springs to rust out.

Bad news guys , he must have gone up in price because he was the most expensive in the quotes I got.... I guess the name dropping from this board did not help? $ 4200 bucks, torsion dual axle brake set up.... Same trailer from Nextrail was $ 3725

Did you talk to Jack?
Yep .... Capt. Jack Knowling.... Perhaps you could call and se what he says...
Thanks Cuda.

He shouldn't be that high. A buddy of mine just bought one from him a few months ago for a new 29 Concept. Triple axle torsions etc. I'll call him and find out what he paid. I wonder if Jack was looking at the wrong model. He ain't no spring chicken anymore. He's been building trailers for about 20 years that I know of.
