Volvo 290/280 Wanted

We have decided to stay with the Ford/Volvo combo in our '69 18 classic engine rebuild but would like to trade out the 250 for a 290 with trim if possible or second choice would be a 280 (trim not neccessary)---- I assume transom gimble assembly is also needed ---- complete drive. One that doesn't need painting would be ideal---- probably wishful thinking :). Ed

I'm glad you are going to stay with the Ford/Volvo setup. I like to see the old boats stay as original as practical.

I can't help you much with the parts you are looking for other than to tell you to keep your eyes open. They turn up in the strangest places....

Our current plan is to stay with the 250 (unless we gather new knowledge that indicates a better plan). The 280/290 drive is no longer needed.
