What is the difference between Gaffrig & Lavorsi. Is it the same company or 2 separate entities?

Actually, Gaffrig, as sold today are made by Gaffrig precision instuments. They ALSO used to me made by Mike Livorsi, as there was some legal stuff going on as to who really could use the Gaffrig name. Mike lost rights to the name and now calls his instruments Livorsi. GPI still produces them under Gaffrig. Generally, I have heard that people like the Livorsis better.

They are different companies. I used Livorsi because they are being used in today’s classic series. They have great tech support “FRED" and were very helpful.

Wow Mike. Did I miss a post somewhere? The 22 really looks great with the new gauges and the interior installed. Can't wait to see her in person!

It is my understanding that the Gaffrig II are still made in Mexico and still crappy quality control.

i have been using autometer gauges and love them much more than the old gaffrigs in my fountain. just one more thing to look at. a lot of the big offshore teams use autometer gauges.
