I'm surprised that you wouldn't see an opportunity to own, rehab & re-sell a rare Donzi, such as this. This, the Imperial Donzi, has been a sought sfter model by kings & affectionados, for years. Only two were built; so, the other one's location remains a mystery to this very day.................

the funny thing is that he says he has owned it since new which takes away the excuse "the guy I bought it from told me it was a donzi." Looking forward to a response to the email I sent him asking about the donzi :D

Must have been a sweet Donzi as the auction ended early due to a buy it now purchase of $1,750.00. You guys on this board keep helping me learn all about Donzis. I now know that hour meters must turn over just like old car odometers. So this boat has like onethousandonehundred hours on it. The intellidash LCD display was my favorite feature by the way. Wonder if it tells ya when the beer is close to empty. God it only hurts when I laugh :hyper: What a piece of ........work.

just got this from the guy via email:

Item has been relisted.

Item number: 4559777144

The title indicates the make to be IMP, therefore it seems I made an error in the auction. Thanks for pointing that out. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Don't recall pointing it out, just asking him if he was sure it was a donzi and if he knew how many donzi built of that fine vessel.

Yes But IMP sort of made the Squadron Cigarettes or bought the mold or something like that, so he could have called it the imperial IMP Cigarette and not have been totally lyng.
Well yeah he would have been
