That is sweet, especially the exhaust, is it a Two Brothers racing? 8 years ago I had a '88 Honda Hurricane 1000 with a TBR pipe on it, it was awsome, sounded mean as hell. I had it for about a year sold the bike for more than I paid for it, I know the new ones are way more powerfull and handle better, I had to sell it because I could not trust myself on it, the power and acceleration to just too intoxicating, luckely I never had an accident on it, it was the worst when me and my buddies would go out, good luck with it and try and be safe, it is very hard with one of those bikes.

Nice choice enjoy,
even a 50 something yr old like me still feels the need for speed.

Now you have something else to deal with that will take up the limited available play time we don't always have.

Remember this:
You don't slow down because you get old, you get old when you slow down!

Enjoy your new knee dragger, wanna race? :wavey:

I just bought a metallic red 2004 BMW R1150R off of ebay, killer deal, only 1100 miles...

it's flat amazing how much power/torque this 2 banger has... i'm pretty positive it'll outrun my 1500 Valkyrie... :)

I really, really, really like this scooter.... now if it would just quit raining..

Carefull now these new rice rockets no longer have a dry sump forced oil system, its oil pan, oil pump pick up only. So if you wheely it too long you'll get what is known as a wheely bearing and your dealer will know just how "you" wiped out the last two rod bearings.ugh! :smash:

Jim H, a buddy of mine went to Hollywood a few years ago and bought a K1200 BMW. He loves it, put a chip and a turbo on it too.

I just read the other day that the K1200R (2005 Model) has 165 horsepower and is the fastest production bike made... ???

Is that true ?
