I was out on the Bay Sunday, crusing along, when the boat felt like it
just latached on to a barge. Powered back and got control. Lifted the outdrive
and found nothing, props turned over by hand and nothing attached. Started
backup, no differance. I have a 275 LXC with a 7.4L and Bravo 3. Good oil
presure, running at 140 deg. If I powerup I get virabration and a strong
smell of gas out of the exhaust. Feels like I lost a few cylinders.
New wires, plugs and exhaust. Any sugestions, I will going down to the
Marina and start looking. :wrench:

You kind have answered you own question it is gas related, if it is carbed put a kit in it. If it is injected get it to a qualified shop don't run it anymore, I bet your oil now smells of gas and should be changed to prevent lower end damage.
