Cable Fitting Stuck !

Hope Someone Can Help !

While Trying To Change My Shift Cable On My 22 Classic The Fitting In The Bravo 1 1988 Bellhousing Wont Come Out . The New Cable + Housing I Bought (merc.) Is Longer. Are There Differant Cables ? Any Help Is Appreciated !

Thanks Phil , I Couldn't Find A Picture Of The Shift Boot Or Cable , But I Got The Fitting Out Finally With A Punch And Small Chisel . Now I Just Have To Find The Correct Shift Cable . The Place I Bought The Shift Cable Said They Only Make One , Of Course The Numbers Have Been Superceeded A Bunch .
