I'm not selling a boat. The reason for the post is that I have to get my finances in order from now. If you've been keeping up with my posts, I would prefer to buy new. However, I am curious as to how much a 2000-2003 22ZX goes for? Any feedback would be great.

There is too much of a variance to give a solid number, check www.boattrader.com (http://www.boattrader.com), I see them around $30k depending on engine / options.

If you want to find out the selling price of anything, go to ebay and do an "advanced search", type in what you are looking for, check the box for "completed listings". One on ebay recently: 1999 22zx, 454 procharged, lot's of extras, sold for $32500

My local Donzi dealer has a brand new 2004 22ZX 350 MPI for under 40K I think he said 38.

That's a good price. Tell him to hold the boat until March of 2006 :jestera:. On a serious note though. Do Donzi's sit at dealerships for a long period of time?

I would say anywheres' between 25 and 35 depending on step, power, condition, fresh or salt and extras.

October and beyond makes for some interesting "deals"

I think that depends,....

Typically classics move pretty quick
The ZF boats move pretty quick as they are VERY popular on the SKA tournament series,
I think when you get to the ZX boats, it's a slightly different crowd, also, there is ALOT more competition for these boats with the Formulas / Bajas / etc. Also, when spending this kind of money on a new boat, people tend to custom order, with all the options, it's hard to keep one in stock that will appeal to every buyer, thus, it get's left over.

My dealer is kinda unique.... He has 1 fishboat, 1 2004 18 anny classic, 1 2004 22ZX. thats it. I don't think he "floorplans" boats. Oh and 1 traded in '02 or '03 18C. Even when I was shooping these were the same boats he had.... this was 1 year ago.
