Thought this might be of some intrest.
This engine was built for a Pantera car. Innitally designed to pull 720 HP at approx 8000 RPM. The intake that I could fit under the hood and was aviable at the time is a Torker ported to the max stepped on air flow by 30 CFM. Do to rocker arm geometry problems lost another 10 or so CFM. Using a 850 Silver Claw BG carb (actually to small for this engine) Max tork is 470 at 5400 RPM .... Max HP is 498 @ 6000. Dino guy has done a lot of 351Cs for various purposes says he has never heard one sound like this engine or pull such a flat torq curve with 4V factory ported iron heads just under 10 to 1 compression.
