Where does a guy hook up the "dump tube" from the Marine fuel pump in case of diaphram rupture. I understand it goes to the carb, (and not the bilge) but where would you dump it?

Lenny there is usualy a 1/4" tube sticking out of the air cleaner at the top edge, if you don't have the tube what I have done is to drill a hole in the plate of the air cleaner and if it is copper/brass solder it in place, if it is aluminum epoxy holds pretty decent just back the tube up with your finger so as not to break the bond when you put the hose on. I usualy put a flare on the tube whether I solder or epoxy, if you want it to be a clean install go up through the bottom plate then it don't mess up the looks of the cleaner.

Here is a picture of mine. You should be able to see the clear tube going into the top rear of the flame arrestor...
The arrestor is an EMI. The hose attachment came with it.

Thanks for the pics and answers. An HP500 would sure look nice in an 18 ;)
