Does anyone know anything about 1995 LE BlackHawk #015 that is located in MI. If everything goes as planned I am the new and proud papa of it. I am going to pick it up in the next few days. I have been a member for a while but this will be my first Donzi. I am so excited!

What can I say, do a SEARCH and read the good, the bad, and and the really ugly. This isn't a family boat, it isn't a booze cruiser, and you got to be about your wits at all times.

When you master it, it is a real hoot. If you don't... well, I once looked at a BH being sold by a widow. Bring her down to Kentucky and get some great advice from the pros.

Congrats on the purchase, but go in eyes wide open!

Rene,
Hope you will bring your new toy to Cumberland. That will give us at least 3 Hawks!!!
Mind what RT says about driving it. They can be wicked!!!!!

I have a Checkmate 221 Vision right now. It has a 454, bravo 1. It will go 68-70 mph with 2 on board. The boat is light and likes to chine walk. I know I will have my hands full with the BlackHawk but I can't wait to learn how to drive it. I have searched and read everything about the BlackHawks and it is one of my favorite boats. I am going to take it real slow at first. Also were is a good place to purchase the 280 K planes.

I haven't found any used 280s planes.
Bam marine has them for $261 each.
