Bought one today at my local Toys R Us. They had 8 of them on the floor (now 7). Haven't taken it out of the box to fire it up, but it looks pretty cool. $19.99 on sale until May 7th. Normally, 29.99. Looks like it will be the right scale for either a 1/18th or 1/24th scale pickup truck tow vehicle. I'll let you know what I find out.
My buddy Greg is over there right now getting one for himself. He has a small pond in his back yard. We are thinking of floating some scale bouys to race around.

The last two Barbies??? LOL :jestera:
I should have thought of that myself.
We could have a special forum under the Donzi Guys and Girls heading and do "Ken and Barbie in a Donzi" photos. Collect all her latest hot bathing suits and nightwear and Ken in a Speedo. Never mind. My sailor brain is way off on a porno tangent now. Harbormaster will ban me from the board.

I haven't shown the Donzi to my wife yet. :fire: I figure I will wait until after I give her Mothers Day card and gift to her. Then casually stroll out to the pool to test run it.
Problem is I also bought a 1/64 scale Porsche Carrera R/C car this weekend as well...

You guys are soooo lucky. Toyrus in Canada don't have them. Appears only the States.(Was also told Toysrus Canada and U.S.A. are totally separate Companies)

Also another major BUMMER I ordered some parts from Procharger 3 weeks ago and they called me today to inform me , Their bank does not honor any Canadian credit cards( Master, Visa, Amex) Bad week........Ed

I go the last one in the store doen here. I ran it in the pool yesterday afternoon. It is not that fast. It was in the beginner rc section. It does come with all the batteries and it was even already charged. The rowdy the chocolate lab went nuts swimming after it in the pool.

It even looks good on my desk.

Thanks for the heads up on these! I bought two yesterday, it was a small conciliation after selling my beloved Donzi last week. Kind of depressing running circles in the pool this morning though...

Brad, you da man! The interior is almost a perfect match for me. I just need to add a yellow paint job on the outside and it is the spitting image of my 33Z Crossbow.

Great heads up. On my way to Toys R Us.

Well, it was a great fun thing to do this evening as the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. I charged the battery and it ran for more than 45 minutes. I got tired (and it got dark) before the battery ran down. Bearing in the stuffing box did not leak hardly at all. Just a couple drops in 45 minutes. Hull integrity was perfect, too. Ran all around the pool and it was quick enough for entertainment. Instructions say NO Salt Water, so I won't be trying it in the big pond. However, I will probably bring it to the Sarasota event in October. THEY have a nice pool. Maybe we could get Mike to set up some sort of bouy thing in the pool and we could have a Donzi One Design race!
