Hey Northwesterners! I understand that Seattle has a big boating weekend on the first Saturday of May. Can anyone fill me in? I'm thinking of dragging the boat over the mountains to check it out.

What is it? Like a boat parade or what?
Where is it? Lake Washington or Lake Union?
When is it? 1st Saturday of May?
Are any board members attending?

Thanks!

Hey Jeff....

Here's last year post on the subject...

Opening Day 2004 (http://www.donzi.net/forums/showthread.php?t=34585)

Opening day is basically a GIANT party on the water. If the weather is good, it's a great time. If it's raining, it really isn't worth it (unless you've got a cover of some sort). One other thing, As you pretty much raft up and float all day, you've got to have access to a head - at this time of year, its a little too cold to jump in...

I'm going to attempt to go out...a few of the NWoffshore guys are going out with a bigger cruiser, I may raft to them. Or, a Donzi.net raftup sounds like a good time...

Any others want to go out?
