Rags to Rigs

Thought some of you might be interested in knowing about an article that appears in May's issue of Boating Life Magazine. A story titled "Rags to Rigs" profiles a Donzi owner's restoration on his 1986 classic - James Spiroff of Deltona, FL. (I don't know if he's a board member.)

The article is not yet posted on the magazines website (Boatinglifemag.com) or I would have attached a link. Perhaps it will be in the near future. Otherwise you'll have to read it the old fashioned way via a hard copy.

Yes. He's a member. I met him and his wife at the owner's Rally back in 2002. Hell of a nice guy and very talented.

They article didn't show or mention the boathouse he built, but he did get top billing (the writer profiled 3 restoration projects) and they summarized what he did and how much each phase cost. It was very interesting and informative. Inquiring minds would want to know.
