Guys,

After almost frying an engine this wknd, I have come to the conclusion that my water pump is bad. Yes, the pulley spins, but no water comes up to the thermostat housing/hoses. Dunno why it sporadically goes out. I pulled the impeller out and it was fine.

Anyway, I can't figure out which pump or rebuild kit I need.

I am attaching some pix. Maybe someone here knows Sherwood products.

I looked at the pumps online, and it looks like the Sherwood Model G-30-2B and the K75B, L10B.

Any ideas???? I need to get this so I can make Smokin' the Sound next wknd!!!!

Thanks, Ben

Man you have to dig deeper, if the impeller is good and the turns it has to work. Something is going to turn up, plugged power steering cooler, drive passage, colapsing intake hose. It must be getting atleast a little water or it would burn out
Have you tried starting it up with the outlet hose off and dumping into a bucket or over the side to see if it pumps?
Did you remove the impeller or just look in at it, it is possible that the insert is slipping within the rubber part?
When you looked inside the pump was the cam plate and back cover in decent shape?
