View Full Version : Help indentify this boat
I've seen this boat sitting since I moved here. It looked like it might be a fun little project, but as luck would have it, the guy was closed when I finally remembered to stop and look.
Anyone know what it is?

maltese magnum 16
power rated - unlimited at time of manufacturer (before v-6 and v-8 engines)
or it could be a carlson sold thru glastron.... but they had a streamlining tail.:smash:

The first time I glanced at it going by in the truck, I was thinking Magnum Missle, but when I saw the deck doesn't come to the very front of the sponsons, it wasn't.

Lenny, I don't think it is. Look at the last pic and you can see the top deck doesn't come out far enough. Next time by there, if he's open, I'll find out.

Isn't that a Mirage River Racer (tunnel)?
I see a lot of those around the South. There's a yellow one in a storage facility with a high-performance Merc 2.5 liter on it near my house. I'll try to stop and get some pix.
