I have a new 330 hp 454 in a 22 classic and I want to add some easy and dependable horsepower. Any advise for heads, intake and maybe a cam.

What generation engine is it? FI or carb? If your staying around 5200 RPM cilinder head air flow through the intake should be 270 CFM. Tis should be done with the smallest port volume possible. Ported big oval port Chevy iron heads are great but dont match up with the newer generation blocks. The Edelbrock heads fit both and are not bad but need pocket porting to reach there advertized air flow. If your carbed the Torker II or similar intake does well.

Not sure what generation it is,but the engine is not more than 3-4 years old and is carbed. Thanks for the advice.
