Hatch hinge repair

One of my hinges had pulled through on my Formula. I had them repair it when the boat was at Marine Performance. They through bolted some aluminum stock. I'm going to get some other stock (backer board), and put it on all the other surfaces to level it up. Then I'll drill holes in the shipboard where the nuts go.

I also test fitted my shipboard. Looks like a good fit, and I'll take it to the upholsterer next week.

I got some plastic birds from Nelems Marine, put them in my copier to make an image of the bird.

I took the copy to a blueprint place and had them blow it up to 20 inches tall. I'll cut it out with an exacto knife and use it for a template to cut the yellow bird out I want on my sundeck.
