What is this???

Does anyone have an idea of what this is and if it belongs on a 98 350 Mag MPI? If so where?
I found it in the bilge of my 18c and have never seen it before nor could I find a home for it. It must have been wedged under the oil pan or something.

On a '98 502 MPI, it goes here. It is the cover for the cool-fuel system. Ths is a system to keep the fuel cool and hopefully avoid vapor-lock.

PS - when winterizing this system, there is a plug that should be pulled to drain the water from the exchanger.

Hey Red, Thanks for the info. Thinking about it I probable knocked it off when doing spring maintenance ie. pulling exhaust manifolds, changing plug wires, etc.
Fortunatley for us here in TX, we don't need to winterize. Now time to dive in the bilge again.
