I'm trying to figure out what the proper prop for my boat is. It's a 1997 22ZX non-step with a 454 Mag and a Bravo 1.

From what I've been reading, a 24p Bravo 1 seems to be the way to go...

Any recommendations?

Thanks

From what I have read on this board, you should stick with a 3 blade for a non-stepped hull.

In three weeks I test a lab finished Bravo 1 24p on my 22ZX in comparison to the Mirage. I have also a non-step 22 ZX but with only the 7.4l.
I also have a Revolution 4 to test. Curious what´s works best.http://www.donzi.net/ubb/cool.gif

My 97 22ZX came with a 21" Mirage.
Since I've modified the 7.4 with a Pro-Charger and other goodies we tried a 26" and 28" Bravo. The boat runs great and safe until about 65-68 mph. From there on up she is just flat dangerous. The Bravo just gives it to much stern lift and can hardly trim if enough to make it safe.
On a stock motor, I wouldn't change anything. She could run all day @ 4800-5000 with the 21" and a full load, in fresh water.

Anyone that wants a near new Bravo 26" I have one. The 28" will be available after the gearing is changed in the outdrive.

Be safe!
