Timing 454 question...for someone else

I am installing a MSD PRO -Billet distributor in my 454 engine and was wondering
about timing. My builder says he wants 16 static 16 in the distributor for a total of 32. One light blue and one light silver spring for the curve which will have all
the advance in by 2000 RPM. Does this sound correct? Any help ??????

Imco Powerflow Exhaust
750cfm (will flow 820) vaccume secondaries
dual plane air gap manifold
Bravo drive

Static is fine...but all in closer to 3000-3400 is what I look for.

Lenny, I use 15 degrees/static with my MSD system on the 502, with all of it in at 3000RPM.

I use 2x light blue springs, all in @ 2500
Black bushing, 34 total (93 octane only!) 9.4/1

Make sure you use corrosion protection on springs and dist magnet :yes:
