I came across this Donzi for sale at one of my favorite websites. http://usauctions.com/BoatDetail.aspx?BoatID=5977

A totally stripped, I mean TOTALLY STRIPPED 2003 28ZX. Looks like the theives wanted everything in and on this boat. Take a look at the pictures. The auction starts on the 30th and is probably going to be listed on EBay.

Maybe someone here may be interested but is sure going to take alot of work and break the piggy bank.

Is this thing related to a Hurricane deal? Looks like either a stripped out (PRIOR) to cane thing or an inside job. No one has any need for most of comestic stuff that was removed. It is hull specific, and who "else" would have one like this in this condition.

Definately, it would be in my "ballpark" in this condition. Once rigged, I'd be the guy wearing the barrel  and sleeping on it.

Is that Poodles' boat beside it??? on the left... hmmmmm :D

Looks to me like the boat my have been sunk, someone started to take it completely apart, then lost interest. At least they left the gas tank.

As crazy as it sounds most boat builders I have worked for or spoke to say the hull is approximately 15-20% of the final cost. A barrel may be short when ended, it would be very hard to resurrect and meet its market value. But it would make a great hot tub for the avid Donzite, a Lenny it would be great in your yard! :biggrin.: :biggrin.:

Here we have a "buy it now" price of $85 K on a new one.

A pair of new 496 Mag HO's and Bravos here is about $42K US$. Then add everything else and I can see why free for this thing doesn't even seem like a deal. At least to me. This would be ideal for someone with a pair of motors laying around. It would be ideal for the Harbourmaster and his 509's and Xr's too :D

4 feet shorter and 509's! That would be a scream and our Haba Monster would be back in a Donzi! Not many excuses, he does have ALL the parts!
