After fifteen years of chasing turkey all over the state, I got my very first gobbler Saturday morning. :D

He's a real trophy too. 21 pounds, 9.5 inch beard, and 1.25 inch spurs. Debbie's dad said he is probably 5 years old.

I'm going to have him mounted. On the plaque I'm going to put, "Thank You Bobby Davis, then my name and the date. Then I'm going to give it to Debbie's dad. He's been taking me down there for years, trying to help me get a gobbler. He's a great guy!

Just joking, I got my first gobbler when I was about 15 it was a great thrill I felt like the great white hunter. I know how you feel and that feeling don't fade!
