I took these pictures myself today!
It is one of many astounding sites from the aftermath of the Hurricane from August 13th
That is the one that was supposed to be a direct hit on Tampa Bay!
There were MANY other signs of total devastation! Leveled buildings,
dead farm animals in places where they did not belong........
Huge pieces of metal buildings in the middle of crop fields.......miles from where they were built......
The town of Arcadia is 100 miles inland from the coast and has for the most part remained unchanged since the mid 1960's.
It is a farm town with a fairly small population.
