Those pictures remind me of Caribou Me, I was stationed at Loring. We had a few storms that the snow got up to the second story windows, we had to run 5wt oil or could not get our cars started. On the minus 40-50 degree mornings the tires would thump the whole 18 miles to the base, I can see you know the feeling!
