22 Classic Structural Problems

Hello,

Does anyone know of any existing structural problems with the hull/stingers/transoms in certain years of 1980's and 1990's Classics? Where on the boat is prone to wear and failure.

Also, can a late 1980's Bravo One drive handle a 415hp engine?

The only difference is one is in the 20s/teens vs one is in the 10s/teens. Both for the hull and the drive. If the 80s model is well cared for it will be better than a 90s model that hasn't been taken care of. Areas of concern are wet/rotten stringers, transom, deck coring.

The Bravo I will handle a lot more than 415 HP
