With everyone's experience here with their 22's has anyone came up with ratio for how many extra ponies it takes to achieve an additional 1 MPH?

A lot of factors enter into the equasion but, at top speed and all things in the set up being correct...... 12 - 15 HP per 1 MPH
(for the 22 Classic at top speed)

I think it depends on where you're at to start with. If you have a boat that currently runs 55mph it will take a smaller hp increase to go 60mph than a boat that is currently running 70 and you want to run 75mph. Just my pointotwo.
