PRESS RELEASE

Donzi Reports Banner Miami Show

A flood of new models fuels a dramatic increase in retail sales.

For Immediate Release
Sarasota, FL March 2005 – American Marine Holdings Inc.’s Donzi Marine division substantially increased its sales at the 2005 Miami International Boat Show, with retail orders exceeding 40 boats for a total of $7.5 million during the course of the five-day event. Demand was spread throughout Donzi’s diverse product line with particularly swift sales of its new 35 and 38 ZR high performance models and popular ZF center consoles.

While the market in general shows signs of rebounding, Donzi credits its ample momentum to a significant investment in new product.

Last fall, CEO Lee Kimmell initiated sweeping enhancements at Donzi, which began with new appointments to its senior management staff, a 70,000 square foot expansion to its manufacturing space, widespread upgrades to its existing product line and now, a flood of new models. Over 40 media representatives gathered at Donzi’s Miami Boat Show press conference to witness the unveiling of its two newest models, the 38 ZR Daytona and 38 ZF Cuddy. These introductions arrive on the heels of the 35 ZR and 38 ZF Open launched last October in Fort Lauderdale.

Tom Kosto, Donzi’s VP of Sales stated, “People are talking. Four brand-new Donzi models so far in 2005, with more on the way. We are the first major manufacturer to introduce a brand-new line of high performance boats in a long, long time. Customers go from booth to booth at boat shows and see the same performance boats they’ve seen for years. Then they come to Donzi and see a line of boats like nothing else out there. We came to Miami to make a statement, and the results speak for themselves”.

Donzi will soon add a 43’ model to its new ZR line, which it hails as the most advanced in the industry. According to Josh Stickles, Donzi’s VP of Marketing, “We’ve done our research. These new ZRs offer everything you’d expect from a custom builder, yet they’re still priced competitively. All three were bred from our 38ZR Competition race boat and offer the speed, balance, and handling that have won five National Championships and two World Championships. Every new ZR comes with a proven track record”.

At the same time, the company continues to expand its popular ZF line of performance center consoles, having added 38’ open and cuddy models for 2005. “Even though there’s a lot of buzz going on about our performance boats, we’re not neglecting our center console customers”, said Mr. Kosto. “We will continue to add new models and gain market share on both fronts”.

“We have set our sights firmly on the competition”, said Mr. Kimmell. “The world is taking notice. Donzi has invested more in the high performance market than any other manufacturer, and we will continue to gain momentum as we introduce more new models. Now is our time”.

For over 40 years the Donzi name has been synonymous with high performance, quality, and style. Located in Sarasota, Florida, Donzi offers over 30 fiberglass powerboat models from 16 to 45 feet. Donzi is a division of American Marine Holdings, which also includes Pro Line recreational saltwater fishing boats; and AMH Government Services, which offers customized Donzi, Pro-Line, and Sea Coaster vessels for government and military applications worldwide.

Great release! It's nice to know I own something from a progressive company that understands it's niche in the market (that's us!). :)
