Ugly:
Very difficult to Install Linux programs that are not part of Linspire's proprietary CNR warehouse of software. Doesn't come with a compiler.
To access the CNR library you must pay a membership fee. Then you get the compiler.

Doesn't seem to have a sleep function.

Drivers for new hardware are difficult to find.

Font sizing is not consistant through out applications.

Everything in Linux is in a different computer nerd language all on its own. Like its a club with a secret handshake.

Bad:
Konqerure (sp) Browser does odd things with Animated Gifs and fonts.
Bundled software is limited.
Supplied drivers for printers are not full featured. Difficult to get Font Sizes larger for printing.
Not much Icon notification of processes.
This can make the machine appear to have crashed.
A little slow for Dial-up as there's lots of soft you will
want to DL.
Doesn't come bundled with FTP soft or an office suite.

Good:
Does not Crash.
Cheap.
Automaticly adaptive to most user perferences.
A lot like a Mini multitasking/multiuser computer in the way you can schedule tasks and set priorities.

Can set many levels of user access.
Browser has integrated mail and HTML composer/publisher.
Compared to other venders, software is cheap.
Bill Gates, doesn't get a dime.
Large set of drivers for older equipment.
CNR install process is seamless.
GUI is kinda of a Tween of Win 98 an OS X.
And if you don't like it, you still got a hell of a deal for
$180 dollars and go to another Linux Distribution or, god forbid, Windows.
All updates once you are a member of CNR are no extra charge.
Oh, and Bill Gates doesn't get a dime.
