Hi Guys
I have a Z33 with TRS drives and Mercruiser MCM transmissions. I replaced a worn cooler line on the trans and need to refill it with fluid. Does anyone know the recommended fluid for this type transmission? I also replaced a leaking hydraulic line on one trim cylinder and need to refill the pump. Can someone give me the correct recommended fluid for the hydraulics?

Type F only, not the universal stuff... You can use motor oil in the trim system, or ATF. Your call.. I am in the habit of using ATF in those plus the power steering, keeps it simple...

Thanks Poodle. So I can actually run the universal ATF in the hydraulics as long as I use type F in the tranny?
