I was talking to my Dad about fishing in FL as a non-resident. My Dad is coming down from Michigan for March and April and wanted to bring his poles. I found the website for FL fish and wildlife and it said $31.50 for freshwater, and $31.50 for Saltwater ( non-resident rates). Do these rates seem accurate?
I remember seeing a sign on a pier in Daytona that said you didn't need a license if you fished on the pier. What is the story here?
Are there any good places to drop a line in around the Port Orange/Daytona Beach area?
The family and I will be heading down to visit them for Easter. I may bring my tackle too.
Thanks
