I know its a "family" style holiday, but Its a long weekend for me and We are thinking of heading to Lake Buchanan to play.

Why Lake Buchanan? well, I've never been there and I want to check it out. Its about an hour or two NW of Austin. We are scoping out locations now...I need a place that can launch something bigger than a bass boat :lookaroun

Anyway...if you're interested call me or email, etc. I will be back in Texas week after next.

Nothing fancy, semi-roughing it in cottages or whatever, cook your own food. if you want a fancy set up talk to Miller, Boxy or Bonnie. I usually just make this stuff up as I go.

HEY ........ :splat: :splat:

I take offense to that remark. Other than booking a hotel, I have never, nor will ever post a formal agenda for the 1000 Islands Run.
Matty's in charge of that ....

Jefe, We would love to make it but already have plans. I can't wait to get the boat into the new house and get it ready for spring. Things are just busy for us. Besides, Mom and Dad expect us on holidays and our Pastor is a little miffed that we haven't been to church in a while. So we have to do the family thing. Have fun, take lots of pics and post them.

I'm glad to see that someone else attends church regularly. Regular being Christmas and Easter!

I was in Germany Freezing my booty off....Highs of 5 Deg C, Lows at -6 Deg C and snowing.....I hate the cold.

Now I'm in the lovely garden spot of West Yorkshire...Leeds. Nice town in the summer with the long days....but winter really sux.

So frozen beer in Germany would be a Bier Cicle...like popcicle

Reedy, Richard - we are going to Silver Creek Resort. It looks like their ramp can handle Jefe's Revenge so that is very important. We really hope you can join us.

ToonaBaby - I am in Church everyday of my life....All I have to do is see the wonderful blessings the man upstais has bestowed upon me, family, friends, fortune......and a great Donzi. Life could not be better.

Even this frozen tundra in Europe has a rugged beauty of its own....not to mention the German Barbi Dolls :eek!:

Plus when I'm 50 miles offshore as the sun is coming up on a perfect July day, right as I hook up on a giant Yellow-fin and the TLD starts screamin' off line. I know there is a God. It don't take siting in a building to tell me that I have a lot to be thankful for....and I am very thankful, especially for you sweetie...you always keep me on my toes.

Nothing yet...Buchanan was a bust. Nice lake but NO....I Mean NO dock space for any bost over 18' long, 5' wide and 3' tall......they have no love for the big boats.

Jeff - Heard you sold the 16'. have you considered Woodsy's 22 OB. Take a look it is one of a kind and Wood is about as Anal as can be at taking care of things.

Kid,
I came upon this boat or another exact model / color donzi out on clear lake about 5 weeks ago. A young kid and girlfriend aboard said he was out in the bay tearing up the 3-4 ft chop. Then screamed "Lets go make some noise" and took off like a bat out of hell! Jeannette and I just looked at each other and shrugged. I am thinking it was his dad's boat? If it wasn't and this is the same one, take a long look at it cause he was tearing it up without regard.
