Well, bought a new 22 Classic 496HO. Good thing, deliveries will get tough, I am told.

VinV congrats on the new ride, where abouts in NY? Maybe we will run into each other. There are a quite few Donzi members out on Long Island several right in my area of Peconic Bay.

I got the details worked out today as the boat was ordered already and I had some things to be finalized.

Too bad I couldn't find a 500EFI. It would have been my first choice. I really wanted that boat. I couldn't wait any longer if I want something sure for the summer though.

I will be out on LI Sound/Glen Cove.....

I have a 91 Sweet 16 Red boot stripe White hull that is now my 3rd boat. I need to sell it. Anybody interested? I will post it here soon. I want to get it waxed up before I offer it.

Why didn't you just order a new 500EFI 22?

Donzi will still build one and the factory can finish a 22 pretty quickly. Our 22 Aronow was finished way ahead of schedule, under 12 weeks I believe, more like 8 weeks start to finish.

I have one of the factory 22 500EFI boats. It is a fun boat and a great combination, really all the power and acceleration you'd ever want in a 22.

I called the factory to find out about the 500EFI. They don't offer that engine any longer. At least to me.

The biggest HP is 425.

I will settle. I don't drive on a lake so 5 mph I will never see.
