Powerboat mag march 2005 has a review.This model is based on the vr-1 design,yet has a raised deck.Thats one thing I dont like about the newer 28zx donzi,the deck is too low and I cant sit in the cabin.Plus the 290SC comes with a full head+shower.Single engine 525hp they get 80.6mph on radar or 78.2GPS.Base price is $89500.Which is close to the price of the 28ZX.Nice boat,but its still not a donzi.
