Looks to me to fit a standard Velvet Drive housing. Not very big though, probably no pump inside, maybe no clutch plates either. Could it be just an "in and out" regardless of what seller says?

Looking at it and shooting in the dark (even though it IS full moon) :rolleyes: I am wondering if it is a PTO for a generator or hydraulic pump !!!,I am certain that someone will come up with the correct answer .

I think that is known as a crash box. You can't run the engine while shifting into forward or reverse, but, you can idle the engine in neutral without the drive turning....Ed
