Yes folks, i took the plunge today. After 4 years and 4 months i decided it was time for a change and accepted a job offer that i've been considering for a few months. Tomorrow morning i drop the bomb on the ole boss... I begin the new venture on Feb 14.

I'm going to be moving from a japanese owned tier 1 automobile manufacturing company where i am in a production engineering position to a small custom machine design / fabrication and machining company as mainly a design engineer / project manager. I finally have an opportunity to be creative at work for a change...

So, if anyone needs any thing in that catagory give me a hollar... I';ve known these folks for about 3 years now and they do a lot of work for me in my current position. Their work quality, attitudes and service are top notch.

JR - least it's closer to home :)

Sounds great. Should be exciting to start something new like that. I've changed jobs because I wasn't exactly happy doing what I was doing. Heck, i changed careers. When youre get into something you really like, you then realize the rut you were in.......

Good luck with it.......
