I'm poking around looking for muffler tips, looking to tone things down when needed. I have no room for switchables so ideas appreciated.

An alarm clock set for 8:30 AM would work for me ...... :D :D

I think Corsa Performance makes some slip on mufflers...

These Gil slip-on's might also work .....

I have been looking at the tips up on Ebay, there are a few, the grey ones could be re powder coated and maybe adjusted not fully closed giving less back pressure. What I would like is a slip on that is just a muffler not switchable but not to restricting, the bay constable is saying they are going to get tougher soon. We have a non switchable law in NY, not sure if they will be inforcing that along with noise. I know this guy for years, tends to be on the pricky side

Phil, I Bought A Set Of Decibel Reducers That Slip In The Exhaust That Are Stainless Steel. I Turn The 7/16 Bolt Head To The Inside Of Flanged Pieces And Just Tighten Them And They Stay In, They Are Meant For 500 H.p. And Under. They Are Probably About 5 Inches Long, Bell Shaped On Each End And Narrower In The Slotted Center Section ( Where The Holding Bolt Is ) For About $100.00 I Think It Was Off Shore Racing Catalog. Definetly Reduced Noise But Still Healthy Sound.

Phil,

look at the corsa SS mufflers that come standard on the new classics... heck i sold a pair off my boat for peanuts a couple of years back. You should be able to come up with a pair fairly reasonable and they knock the volume down considerably to a deep rumble.

Phil, I have the Corsa 4" Silencer tips, same as the ones on new 22 Classics. I have not put them on anything yet, but they have a muffled/baffled tip c/w Carek valve and Salisbury flappers. I paid about $200 for them off E-bay and they are new.

You should be able to find some cheap. These were a lot more than that from Corsa.
