Hello,

I am from Germany and new in this great and informing forum. I have some questions on a donzi 22 zx. I saw the below pictured Donzi 1997 22 zx. Its in very good condition. Can anyone tell me if the graphics were standard or optional?
What speed can I expect from this boat with a 7.4l with a bravo I?
At the moment I own a 95 18 classic with a mercruiser 350 magnum which is doing around 62 mph. Can I expect more speed from the 22 ZX? On the 18 I have a silent choice exhaust, the 22 zx has just a thru transom exhaust. Do I need mufflers? :kaioken:
Is there something special to look at before purchasing?

thanks

Looks like the whole boat has been completely redone. In 1997 Team Donzi did not exist it was Damn Donzi Racing. Who ever did the job on the boat looks good because even the interior looks like it has been redone. That motor in that boat will run around 61MPH There is no step. with a step about 63mph. She is a good looking boat boat good luck

Thank you Shanghied again.I think I will buy it. The engine looks very good.
I heard about vacuum bagging at Donzi. Ist this boat vacuum bagged? Do you know "critical" points to look at for a 22 ZX?

Shanghied is exactly right on speed!!

My 1999 22ZX (with the step) hit exactly 63 on GPS on a perfect day with the 7.4MPI.

BUT, now I have an HP500 in there!! After three runs, I have hit 77.1 with a stock 28p Bravo prop at 4,900 RPM. There is more there...

You will LOVE the 22ZX!!
Take care,
Kent
