Oil Filter relocation

Is there anyway to relocate the oil filter on a 350 Chev installation on a 65 16'?. Its almost impossible to get to and when you do you end up spilling oil. Any help appreciated

You can always add a remote filter kit, I bought one for $140.00. It put's the filter right on top, no fuss no spills.

Check out the pictures of my motor in SCOTT PEARSONS MOTOR AND TRANSOM a few threads down. You will see the relocation oil filter on the top of the motor.

Its back a few threads. Go to page #2 and it will be right there. You can see it reall well and how it bolts on. Its right next to the power steering pump.

Where did you get it and do you have to pull the engine to put it on. Thanks

Mercruser make it. I think you can put it on without removing the motor. If your small enuff to fit down in there. It might be tuff but I'm sure it can be done.
