My harmonic balancer pulleys on the 502's are black powdercoated aluminum.

Anyone know of a way to strip off the powdercoating besides 3 million hours of sanding/grinding?

I know someone who has a couple of billet pulleys he might want to do some horsetradin' with. How do I tell if they are for a short shaft or Long shaft water pump? How do I know what I have?

My stock balancer pulleys have the casting # 90081-C

Scot most marine circ pumps are the short type, the added length is in the snout on the long type. Long pump have longish snout sticking out from the body of the pump. Depending on how fat your fingers are, the long snout has a bout 4 finger widths from the pump body to the pulley flange. If you have a GM V8 automobile close by most all have the long style, that will give you a visual reference.
