In the last 2 months I have received only a couple of donations towards the website. It was especially hard since I was spending alot of time working on the site, calling users to solve their problems, and wading through piles of email. This is time that I could have used to look for a job or make money as a consultant.

Since January 1, 2004 we have had 1283 new registrations.

Registrations are going up and support is going down. What gives? At this rate if nothing changes we might have to start putting advertising on the pages or else start charging for certain services.

If you have not stepped up in the past to provide any support for this site, now is the time.

You can send a check to the Donzi Registry, 2323 Clear Lake City Blvd #180-253, Houston, Texas 77062
OR click on the "make donation" button at the top of the page to make a donation via Credit card.

Since joining this site, which I view almost everyday, I might be described as a "slacker". This site in the past as been valuable in my pursuit and motivation to restore my boat. The info has been priceless. I thank Scot for the thankless job he's undertaken and hope my small contribution helps.
Thanks Scot- - Jim Wray

Scot...Thanks for the hats and shirt.

I doubt that any memeber of this site would like to see ads appear, including myself. But I can imagine that Scot could attract quite a few advertisers. This board has grown by leaps and bounds over the past few years and we all know how much we are capable of spending on a project here and there.. :smash: Lets pony up fellas....

If ads do become required, I think board members should get first dibs...maybe set a minimum "member since" period to keep the vultures away.

I sent an E-check. It will come in the form of some official-looking check from my bank.

paypal'ed yesterday, guess i was psychic.

Every little bit helps folks, especially since for years HM has been taking $$$ out of his pocket every month to make sure we have this awesome site free of charge. If you knew how much bandwidth, hosting, etc.. costs, you would be floored! We have no restrictions on pictures (takes up storage and uses bandwidth), HM does not charge to access anything (like some others), and this site just recently went through a major software upgrade. free for us means big $$$ for HM.

If you have ever gotten even one bit of good performance ( technical, mechanical, structural...etc) advice here, think of what it would have cost you from a professional?? I would say you got it free here, but in actuality, HM picked up the tab for your advice.

lets give something back to the HM for all he has given us.

Pony up?

Hell, I'll donate a damned colt to the cause!

(But just in case you don't need the manure, I hit the paypal button. Kinda hard to put a price on the friendships you've enabled!)
