What's the best stuff to use? I have epoxy resin & polyester resin throughout the inside of my hull. I need something tough and preferably "sprayable."

As always, thanks for your expert input!

Nate, I used Interlux white bilgecoat. I'm not sure it's sprayable, but it sticks to EVERYTHING

Thanks George. Does it dry completely "tack free?"

Completely tack free. And by the time you get the second coat on, it's shiny.
But Matty's right too.
I guess you can't have everything. :wavey:

You can also use a product called Durratech. It is a polyester based product but it will work fine over Epoxy. You just have to wash the epoxy area's with water and a scotch bright first. You can then add clear Durratech to the Gell Coat and then you do not have to worry about waxing agent.

I use Rustoleum 9100 series 2-part (50/50) high performance epoxy. Availible through Graingers, comes in many colors, is fairly inexpensive ($150 for 2 gallon kit) can be sprayed when reduced with their thinner and is basically indestructable, 99.9%waterproof and will stick to anything except oil/grease so prep is minimal. I also use it to paint all our engines/motor mounts as well.

Note: This coating has bonding strength of about 2,000psi, so once cured it does not come off without major work.
