Jerry, try Amazon.com and alibris.com on a regular basis. That way your looking at a world wide market.

Ask Michael Aronow ?
He had autographed copies.

Thanks, I checked on Alibris and they had one for $350.00. She loves me, but not that much. I did check with Michael and he said to check back every three months for the re-print. If anyone finds one at a fair price, let me know.

Thanks :splat:

Jerry - I bought 4 of them a couple years ago. Still have one extra left. Brand new. It's yours for $40 if you want it. Buy me an MGD and I'll bring it to you on the 14th.

Tom, if you find ANOTHER extra copy, I would love to get one.
Thanks,

Wish I had them. The first printing is through and sold out. The publisher has yet to decide if the "public interest" warrants another printing.
I will keep the board posted.
Best to all for the new year,

Michael

Thanks Tom!! That is great news. I should have picked one up five years ago. I owe you big time. Are you and Joe coming up on the 14th to pick up his new boat??

Jerry - you're welcome pal. It's not autographed but I'd be glad to sign it for you. :rlol:
Yep, that's the plan. We'll stay overnight, pick up his boat and head back on Saturday the 15th.
Ted and Bob - sorry guys but, that's the last one I have, other than my own autographed (by Michael) copy. I contributed the others to a couple AOTH auctions in past years.

Neat thread, our copy is mint, had it several years, two at least.

I am about to sell mint issues (a year at a time) of ALL Popular Science and Popular Mechanics magazines from 1950 to present on EBAY.
Money in books it seems.

Maybe I will auction my copy of the Thunder Boat Row here on the board once the demand grows.

Well, I'll have to be careful. Looks like all the Seadogs will have woodies soon. :biggrin.:

I think we will have a couple woodies at AOTH this year.

That would be a first... (well, except for the small one Poodle gave me...)

The water wasn't that cold when I had to jump in to put Rootsy's boat on the trailer :p
