4.3 L marine engine for OMC

Thinking of ditching the 3.0L for a 4.3L v6 for my Ragazza. Anyone have a low hour, fresh water one?

My Ragazza is the 17' model. Currently has the OMC. is the opening different for the alpha 1?

I have a good used 4.3 out of my 1990 sweet 16 that I replaced with a 5.0L. I purchased the boat from an older dentist in the thousand Island area and it is is excelent condition. I don't have the exact total hours on the motor but it worked flawlessly for the 5-6 hrs I put on it. (got beat by the neighbour's bowrider and therfore had to do something). I reused the carb and distributer. If you are interested I can send you pictures and some more info.

I have the old distributer off of my 4.3l I'd let go for a steal,

Also, have many other parts and pieces,

Manifold and Carb - but 2bbl, not 4

Carb needs cleaning, but worked great, manifold needs clean / paint

Let me know,...... now I have the new engine, could be had pretty darn cheap
