Above is what I have bought from Bilt-Rite.

Below is what my X-18 has (had) . I get new seats next week. They have been shipped :D , and I was wondering what any of you would do in this siuation? Would you remove the existing block from the floor or shop for a different set of sliders for the seat base? I must say, I prefer the swivel and forward backward controls that these provide, but wonder about hacking up the existing standoffs ?

Ideas anyone. ?

Well, later I will show the existing standoffs. Can't get them to load and I have to leave this 'puter. :)

Lenny,

Call me regarding this issue. I can provide a lot of insight regarding the seat frames for these boats. I destroyed several stock seat frames this past season and am in the process of manufacturing an "offshore" mount for the 18 Classics with the raised boxes. The design is done and I have material to make a few sets. My design is indestructible (which I need), but not easily adjustable (though some adjustments can be made) I can provide more details if you call.

I may have an answer that you'll like.

Craig, yes I have a "NICE" ASD6 Arny, rams, the works... just wandering aimlessly right now and touch it every once in a while. :D

Sceaming and thinking and sleeping...

I like the stock approach, don't want to change my X, but I like Geoo's approach, a lot. I DON'T have Geoos' money for THE investment he has created but know that 80 GPS would kick all the ass's here in most any single V period.

That is what I am doing Craig :D :D :D

Just that it is easier to just "look" at it right now.
