I finally took the tips last week to get the baffles cut out. The machine shop cut them in four pieces and hollowed them out. The boat sounds incredible. I took it out this past weekend twice. I asked stainless marine about your tips and they told me that you should get internal flappers. He told me that the riser is in fact higher than the tip probably but if you take on a wave from the transom you can really hurt your engine. Hows the boat coming along?
