Mid-Atlantic Donzi Club?

O.K. So I was scanning the Registry today in my office, I confess, and I count roughly 50 registered owners of Donzis in the Bay area!(NJ-16,PA-8,MD-15,VA-11), I know we are all very busy with this years plans already,AOTH,DustOff,Eufaula,West Coast, and of course the Michigan contingent, what about a semi-organized group surrounding our great body of water? We could easily put together a "Thunder On The Bay" or some such gathering next year,and I am sure based on the central location we could pull many others from the surrounding states? What are your guys thoughts? I have the drive and energy and interest, but I am not a webmaster, so no fancy website from this hack, but I was just curious!...Doc

Would any of you guys want to make this an overnighter? Trumps Marina is $4 a foot. I can talk to them and see if we can shake them down depending on the boats, NJPPC got them down a dollar a ft. I know Trumps is 225 a night to stay at the Casino. There are pleanty of local hotels in Brigantine just on the opposite side of the bridge. July are August, Would be good months I will start looking at dates and get back to everyone once I call Trumps Marina for avalibilty. Hooters is at Trumps Marina on the deck! And Mike is supposed to be sending me Banners for The NJPPC so we can keep are boats in one area together, We will also see about making up trophys for oldest, best looking crew and best looking Donzi.

Frank, we will definitely spend the night! Too far to party & drive,this sounds like a great time! I am out of town for a week in July(6th -15th) and in August(11th-19th),family Donzi trip to Grand Haven and all points north in Michigan, and , Darn, a cruise to Bermuda(no Donzi)in August. Hopefully your A C dates will fall outside of those dates. If not, there's always next year? The weekends of; July 21st,28th orAug 4th would be perfect for us?

I will start making calls this week, We use the Marina for all our poker runs, We will be shooting for this year, Christian and Myself tried to pull this off last year, That weekend a Nort Easter hit in August, The day after the NJPPC Poker run. Me and Geo were soaked. This year I would like to see if we can do a weekend. There are many hotels in the area that I will get prices for. Trumps is steep but I like staying there myself 225 a night. Brigantine is just over the bridge. I will get prices of the motels on that side and there are chitneys that can run back and forth, Like Christian said this Marina has a Hi Security there are several dock masters that work all night.

Ok here are the dates now I have to check Trumps Marina to see if we can get any of the dates so then we can agree on what date we want. These are for Sat and Sun. June 9-10, July 21-22, Aug 18-19 and Aug 25-26. Let me know if any of the dates are ok! Trumps Marina now has (Hooters) for the patio bar and outside food area.
