Green Lexan !

Friends,

I'm going to attempt to locate more green lexan for windshields . . we need to build 3 or 4 windshields for Corsicans, and I am willing to buy more sheets if I can find this stuff anywhere!
After speaking with Richard Weaver I'm thinking this is going to be a big search, but somewhere the material is hidden.

Does anyone else want to get on the list of the needy for lexan???

I have some good contacts for Lexan.. What shade of green and what thickness. What size sheets and quantity? ...Ed

Any glass shop or sign shop should be able to order it for you. I deal in polyacarbonate (Lexan) through my glass business so if you can't find it locally, I would be happy to help. There are hundreds of tints so a color code will help. If not , send me a small piece and I should be able to match it.

Keep me in mind for my 22Classic. If it is fairly dark green I would be interested considering price / availabilty / etc.

There are some links here on post #4. You'll find a lot more color choices with acrylic than polycarbonate.

Spoke to my friend who works for GE Polymershapes in Toronto(Rexdale), and he said you want Lexan SG404 and it can be had through www.piedmontplastics.com They will have whatever you want........Ed

Your friend supplied us with the missing tidbit of info the "SG404".

I have sent Piedmont a request for quotation, hopefully I hear back soon.
