1986 22 Donzi Classic

The boat hull is in great shape structurally however could use some light cosmetic work. The Gel is nice and still shows great color. The interior is in average condition. In other words its not a perfect 10 like many of the Donzi Gurru's out there have.

The engine is a 2004' Hand Built 350 Vortec 5.3 Liter Approx. 35hours
Stainless Headers
Stainless GIL Risers
Stainless Valve Covers
Edlebrock Carb
Alpha Drive The drive is in good shape
24 pitch Stainless Mirage 3 Blade

All new wiring
New Lavorsi Gauges
New Carbon Fiber Dash
New Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel
New Carbon Fiber Stereo Plate
New Speakers 2 Pioneer 6.5 2 Memphis 6x9's
400 Watt Amp.
Trim Pump and Trim Tab Pump are rewired and relocated to have access on the firewall of engine compartment

This boats needs very little to be riding around in a perfect 10 with the Donzi Guys. I have done all the hard work for you by rewiring and replacing everything mechanical and electonical on the boat. If you are looking for a way to have a fun project and not have to worry about the tough stuff this might be the answer for the right price. All that is needed for the boat to be perfect is some minor cosmetic things. Please feel free to call me at anytime in regards to information or questions you have on this boat. My number is 727-692-6971.

I am very motivated to sell this boat. NEW PRICE $11,000 FIRM IF SOLD BEFORE DEC 15, 2004 I NEED TO SELL THIS BOAT ASAP!!!!!!!

I dont have a trailer for the boat but Im sure one can be found if needed.......

This can be Very Very quick if you want it to be.......

The boat is located in St. Pete and is safe if I need to store it for anyone for the winter..........

If your in the Florida I have a trailer that can be used to get the boat to you....There is just not one that goes with the boat.

Lenny,

I have an extra EZ-Loader Trailer that would fit that boat perfectly -- Galvenized tandem rig. In fact, mine was on it before the switch to an Aluminum rig.

You could swing by on your way from BC.

Trailer needs some work, but that might just motivate me to actually finish a project -- bunks are shot as is the wiring. Brakes were disconnected, but I could hook them back up w/o too much trouble.

Lenny,

Did you want to set-up a time to take a look at the boat? Also the boat is on a cradle lift now so it would be a pleasure to take you for a ride as well. Just let me know or give me a ring 727-692-6971.

Any other people out there looking for a good buy on a 22 Donzi.......

I was coming to see it in a rented car when I was there. I was also going to go "meet" Ted if I could find him. As it turned out, neither worked out. Sorry 'bout that and all the replies I see were from after I had already left and I never saw the internet for about 7 days. My loss, but less stress in my life.

Thanks anyways, and I will be going through Ft. Myers as a yearly thing now I believe on my way to Key West.

Take care.

I can tell you that the boat is a 10+ mechanically. Heck, it has a pair of Stainless marine maifolds on her. The engine was buit by hand by Gary King, one of the best. I've known him 30 years. The wiring is first class & are new and heat-shrunk. If it were RED, I'd keep it myself.

It needs to have the 5 inch stress cracks in each corner of the floorboard repaired, like most other 22's of that vintage. My fiberglass guy says it would be around $500 for him to repair it. We have checked all of the stringers and gussets from front to back. They are sound and show no signs of delamination. She's faded; so, she needs to be either wet sanded or painted. That's about it cosmetically.
