George, we put the other alternator in, and the noise was worse. I decided to give up and put it on the trailer. When we got home I had Deb take off your new alt so I could take it back to you. When she had it off, she saw one of the bracket bolts was real loose. Tightened it up, put your alt on it and fired it up. No noise. Did you want to sell me that alt, or do you want it back?

There were a bunch of Jersy Speed Skiff there. We didn't get to see them run, they came in while George and I went to get the alternator.

She did interview and hire a new salesman today though. :yippie:

This is a guy I met a couple weeks ago on an ATV ride. He met us at the ramp. I felt bad he hung around all day waiting for us to get running, and we never did. Good guy, his wife never even complained about hanging around. I'm glad he was there, we had to borrow a socket. I think it was a Baja 190 ES. He had a healthy sounding small block in it.

Sounds good to me George. When we left the ramp coming home, I told Debbie that decides that we will take the Formula next week to Palatka. Now I don't know. I'd rather take the Minx, but I want a boat I can count on next weekend. Maybe I'll get a chance to splash the Minx sometime this week.
